Weight loss seems to be the ‘buzz term’ on everyone’s lips at the moment. People are worried about how much they weigh, public expectation and all the usual worries we go through in our daily life.

Typically with us MEN, the ‘Beer belly’ is the worry we all seem to have. Especially after those winter months where you spend the days/nights in the house eating, drinking and not thinking about the affects on the body.

You then get to the stage where you look at yourself in the mirror and notice the protruding stomach you seem to have acquired. You then proceed to log onto the internet and look up the term ‘how to lose a beer belly’ or something of the kind. Does this sound familiar? This is exactly the process I followed.

What I did notice however was the lack of websites where you could find out everything you needed to know on weight loss of this type. Exercise techniques, diets, how many calories you consume when drinking you’re favourite drink. All these were missed. They seem to be spread across websites with the ‘get ripped in 4 week’ ad’s sprayed across them. The types of ad’s people who are looking to lose weight probably don’t want to see.

This is where Beer Belly was born. I knew I wouldn’t be the only one with the same worries and concerns surrounding losing weight. The only person who wanted a place where all the information is in one place without having to sign up to health courses or nutrition websites.

The site will aim to inform all those who are looking to lose weight in the best practices, best techniques without having to turn into a Rabbit and merely eat salad.
